We have had the opportunity to deliver a range of uniforms – focussed on the front office, admin and sales departments, as well as safety apparel for mechanics.
With considerable experience in the transport and logistics industry, we understood Daimler Truck’s challenges of finding one supplier with the capability to supply all the corporate and transport-specific technical uniforms while also ensuring the logistics of reliable and consistent delivery across Queensland.
Working with the wholesale and retail arms, we customise the uniforms to reflect the various departments and regions in which they operate – with the option to add the individual’s name.
For many providers this could become very complicated. However, Total Uniform Solutions have an in-house embellishment factory which made customising the garments to suit each location very simple.
The range was consolidated across the group to ensure maximum cost efficiency, delivering core items in a range of colours to suit the various brands and overall look.
In the corporate range, we deliver polo shirts, button-up shirts, knit jumpers and softshell jackets, among other items. The safety apparel is compliant to all transport needs, specifically the high vis vests, shirts, jumpers and pants. We also deliver PPE, including gloves and branded hardhats.
Over the past 10 years, we’ve reviewed the uniform to ensure their uniform look is modern and current. Daimler Trucks and Zupps were early adopters of our online portal, giving them the ability to order uniforms for the whole team at the touch of a button. With so many staff, locations and specific branding requirements, ordering their uniforms online has simplified the uniform management process significantly.
With 48 hour dispatch on core stock, it means uniforms can be embellished and sent out to any of the Queensland-based locations within a week of placing the order – a big benefit for this client.
