How about them aprons?

On the 5th April, eight CEOs came together to cook and raised over $15,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Queensland. CEO Kitchen Judges – Josue Lopez (Executive Chef Emporium Hotel) and Javier Codina (Chef de Cuisine and Co-Owner Moda Restaurant), along with the event Host Alastair McLeod challenged Brisbane CEOs to publicly cook one of their own recipes and compete for the title of CEO Head Chef.

Cystic Fibrosis primarily affects the lungs and digestive system because of a malfunction in the exocrine system that’s responsible for producing saliva, sweat, tears and mucus. Management and treatment for Cystic Fibrosis is ongoing and people living with this condition rely on medication to digest their food, as well as daily physiotherapy hospital admissions several times a year. Healthy and nutritious meals are vital, and this event aims to raise community awareness about the challenges people living with cystic fibrosis and their families face every day.

The team at Total Uniforms Solutions couldn't be prouder to sponsor this great cause – providing matching branded aprons and chef hats to the CEO Kitchen participants.

The winning CEOs were:

Steve Scanlan (Recon Solutions) who took out the CEO Head Chef award for top fundraising plus the People's Choice Award for the favourite recipe.

Kristin Devitt (KDPR) took out the Master Recipe Chef.
