On the 5th April, eight CEOs came together to cook and raised over $15,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Queensland. CEO Kitchen Judges – Josue Lopez (Executive Chef Emporium Hotel) and Javier Codina (Chef de Cuisine and Co-Owner Moda Restaurant), along with the event Host Alastair McLeod challenged Brisbane CEOs to publicly cook one of their own recipes and compete for the title of CEO Head Chef.
Cystic Fibrosis primarily affects the lungs and digestive system because of a malfunction in the exocrine system that’s responsible for producing saliva, sweat, tears and mucus. Management and treatment for Cystic Fibrosis is ongoing and people living with this condition rely on medication to digest their food, as well as daily physiotherapy hospital admissions several times a year. Healthy and nutritious meals are vital, and this event aims to raise community awareness about the challenges people living with cystic fibrosis and their families face every day.
The team at Total Uniforms Solutions couldn't be prouder to sponsor this great cause – providing matching branded aprons and chef hats to the CEO Kitchen participants.
The winning CEOs were:
Steve Scanlan (Recon Solutions) who took out the CEO Head Chef award for top fundraising plus the People's Choice Award for the favourite recipe.
Kristin Devitt (KDPR) took out the Master Recipe Chef.

Especially when working with arguments, evidence, and referencing, small mistakes can completely change the outcome. Reviewing drafts also takes a lot of time, and sometimes the errors are not very clear…

Really enjoyed reading this—never thought aprons could say so much about a business, but you’ve explained it in such a simple and relatable way. It’s true that when staff feel comfortable and look put-together, it naturally reflects in how they work and how customers perceive the place. The point about balancing practicality with style really stood out, because a lot of businesses either overdo it or ignore it completely. This actually made me think about how small operational choices connect to bigger outcomes, something that’s often discussed in a managing a successful business project assignment but not always shown this clearly in real-life examples. A genuinely useful and easy read that gives a fresh perspective on everyday workwear. New Assignment…
